Beautiful Day

Great to celebrate your 53rd birthday with a day off work and spending it with your wife, (best bit) :) oh, and sunshine, although he doesn't care if it's sunny or dull, unlike me whose mood instantly lifts if it's sunny outdoors.

We had breakfast at Nero, most of the regulars are back after the Christmas break so good to catch up with them. Took mum some stick to your ribs veg soup I'd made and gave her the bottle money which had amounted to 320quid - silver, pound and two pound coins saved over the year in a massive whisky bottle from the 70s.

Then it was us off to Balvaird Castle for a walk and it was so. Ice we had our soup overlooking the glorious view.

Quick coffee in Pillars at Falkland then home for the school run plus Gymnastics beavers and scouts.

Love a Thursday :) hectic but fun.
