Another great turnout for "Round Midnight" fronted by these two - Paul Froggatt on sax and Paul Guppy on bass, his beautiful red electric one.  Paul's specs down his nose were symptom of how he was well into his playing.  I so much enjoyed rendering this perspective and he liked it.
 Others were John Greenwood on drums and of course Professor Mike Reynolds on keyboards.
I had put one of my jazz mugs into the raffle and John's wife wanted to buy it.  So do I take it out of the raffle and sell it to her - no!  I said I would bring another one for her.  But, would you believe it, she actually won it in the raffle!!!  Anyway she would like a mug with John on it!  It all happens at Burgundy's!
