Finally! We are just ONE short week away from the start of September. Sometimes we can experience an "Indian Summer" but usually the end of August means that we are just weeks away from the return of the rain and gray that Seattle is known for!

Bring it on! This redhead has been waiting long enough! Not a bad summer - but I want my rain back!

Check out the forecast for the last week of August, courtesy of my friends at KING5 TV and it appears that we may finally have some RAIN headed our way!

You see, redheads thrive in rainy, overcast weather! No need to use a whole bottle of sun screen in order to venture outdoors (as in traditional "summertime") and a greatly reduced risk of skin cancer.

As for this redhead - my TRUE "summertime" is just around the corner! Just one of the "other" three seasons that redheads live for! :) Bring on FALL!
