Pilgrims

Tamil Nadu is full of temples. Today activities were curtailed slightly as the whole of the country staged protests at the intention of central government to ban bull fighting. Some want it (especially Hindus who regard the cow as sacred) and others don't - an integral part of rural life.
So we went to another temple, this one had a lot of Pilgrims all dressed brightly in red. The people were great and came up and chatted or just wobbled their heads with a great big grin. The second extra is one of towers just before the rain started with lots of birds wheeling around.
Tonight it is pouring - is this the monsoon now?
We are staying in an Eco hotel in the middle of a forest.
