Is it love?

Things to do at home today so I didn't go far. This is Sooty trying to see what treats I might be carrying. They are still shut into the tunnel to keep them isolated from wild birds but when I am cleaning them I let them into their pen for a short time. Release date is 28th Feb so a few weeks to go yet but I have not heard of any recent avian flu outbreaks so I am hoping this may be the end of it.

I have been cooking scotch broth using a lamb shank I got from the butcher and good old fashioned stew and mash for dinner. Slow cooked in the rayburn it smells lovely.

Off out tonight on the football and work taxi but there will be a special gin for me when I get back as it is Friday after all. Yippee
