Teal

The sun shone brightly today so I was out for a walk to Far Ings (predictable if nothing else) There wasn't much to see and I couldn't stay too long as had an appointment later in the day.
This teal came quite close to the hide. I got some lovely shots that captured it's beautiful colours and some with reeds in for depth but I like the simplicity of this shot and the lovely reflection

My birthday tomorrow so sis has promised to cook me breakfast and take me out to Old Moor for the day. I realised just how old I had become today. She asked what I wanted for my birthday and I said.... slippers! and when my cousin asked I said an old lady woolly hat and scarf - sad but true!
