Chirping

I took a trip out over the Cotswold Hills to try and get a glimpse of the short-eared owls but no joy. Not anything in sight at all and quite a few very disappointed people, who all got back in their cars after a freezing cold vigil this afternoon! A very disappointed blipper here too which left me wondering what has happened to them, so lucky I had my pocket warmer  in my jacket to stop my fingers freezing off!! 

So .... a garden robin it is. Always good to have a back up plan! The Extra is the sun going down behind a tree up on the hill tops.
