Merely a number

For the first time since I started my regular attendance at Ward 1 at the Western General Hospital in 2009, the chairs have been number. This is to aid the doctors to identify particular patients without having to call out a name from the centre of the unit.
The number 1 slot is probably the best as it is fairly spacious, reducing the problems of removing the drip machine when needing to get out to attend the facilities.
