Life goes on..

Friday with Fiona.  Today her choice was to come home here to play.  so that is what we did —snacks, drawings (incl. a Mona Lisa project from school)  books including one about about Leonardo, dancing to music,an hour on the neighborhood playground, guessing games, making and eating pancakes and ice cream, and then she did the “friday night show” on her own -  singing songs that we got quizzed on.  (we did badly)   Never still.  So I challenged her to be still (and quiet) and this is one pose that she kept for maybe close to a minute. I liked the T. Rex sock.   She told us even tho she is only a first grader, she really didn”t think Trump could be President.     We were walking during the ceremony but I did see it on the news tonight.  It’s going to be a long 4 years.
