Devil's Burdens

Went over to a misty Falkland to run in the Devil's Burdens relay race with the Harriers. As we climbed up out of the mist on the steep ascent of West Lomond I dropped my partner sufficiently to have time to take photos at the top. After that it was a joy to run down from the summit and across the plateau before the steep drop down into misty Kinnesswood. It was also a buzz overtaking 55 teams on our leg. Great day out!

In the evening we celebrated Mme A's birthday with an excellent meal at Field in Edinburgh.
