Squirrel Appreciation Day 2016

Today is Squirrel Appreciation Day! October will bring us Squirrel Awareness Month but, before that, it is led in with Red Squirrel Awareness Week (Sept 26-October 4, 2016). Today's blip features the return of a red squirrel to our yard. This gentleman showed up this morning. However, Linda said she's seen a red a couple of times over the past week. Likely the same little dude.
