021— Gate of Argonath

Today's assignment from the book "Vision 365: Mastering the Everyday Practice of Seeing": photograph a silhouette.

This was challenging today. A foggy, grey and quite dull day weather wise. Knackered after bike ride this morning, I think I am fighting a cold again. Or maybe just exhausted.

Tried a few different subjects in a few different locations around the house. Considered finding a different subjects or today's photograph. In the end I persisted a shot this image of one of a replica of one of the Gates of Argonath from the Lord of the Rings that I got with a special edition box set. Set it down in the doorway of the living room looking into the kitchen. Spotlights in the kitchen on, dark in the living room. As usual imported into the iPad and run through vsco. Thanks for looking.
