Ad Hoc Baking

Wow, the weather here is SO dramatic! Trees down all over the place, raging seas, lightening striking buildings...crazy! 
Today was definitely an 'in' day (though D&A still went for their saturday morning swim)...we painted thankyou cards & made flapjacks, but due to my ad hoc approach to cooking, it ended up being granola! Tasty though, various nuts, oats, chia, linseed, raisins, dates, cinnamon, honey & coconut oil. Tasty with natural yoghurt.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny cooking tea - coincided with me feeling headachy. He made his first ever bolognaise and it was a great success. He wants a few recipes under his belt by the time the baby arrives!
2) A chirpy Asha.
3) The baby having the hiccups...love that rhythmic beat...
