Boats, North Queensferry

My Sunday morning bike ride took me up to South Queensferry to the Forth Road Bridge. The overnight rain had melted most of the snow, and only streaks were left on the Ochils. It was also quite a bit warmer.

Having got to the Forth Road Bridge, it would be rude not to cycle across it. At the north end, where I took this photo from the bridge of North Queensferry harbour.

From there, I headed south across the bridge back to South Queensferry, and then Dalmeney and Kirkliston to Broxburn. The wind had changed from NW to a westerly. That made the next part cycling to Pumpherston, Mid Calder and up Leyden Rd a bit of a challenge.

Thankfully, the ride back home along the A70 and through Colinton a bit of a breeze.
