Inauguration Day in Santa Cruz

The UCSC community made this the day of general strike to protest the new president. They marched the three miles from campus to downtown. The march was followed by speeches and breakout sessions to agree on future efforts. This shot was taken as they came down the hill to the Town Clock gathering place.
