March on Montana's Capitol

The unbelievable happened today....they expected 4500 people to descend on the capitol building in Helena and over 10,000 showed up. People from farms, ranches, universities, science labs, hospitals, retail stores, government offices, artists, carpenters, musicians and hundreds of young people in their first demonstration of democracy in action. We surrounded the huge building, chanted, sang and hugged one another on this cold January day....along with the hundreds of thousands around the globe. We matter.
We left feeling joy.
