Deva

This is Deva. For the last 40 years he's been looking after the 'Sri Varasithi Vinayagar' Hindu shrine on the edge of Little India in Penang, Malaysia. Every day at 7am and 6pm he washes and decorates the statue of the elephant-headed god Ganesha and leads the prayers.
I've walked past him dozens of times during my couple of months here, always intrigued by the rituals. Today, my final day in Penang (for now), I finally decided to say hello!
