Power to the Pussycats!

Dear Diary,

I must admit I am a bit sore this morning but it was so worth every ache and pain.  Final crowd tally late last night was 175,000!  This morning, Ms Raspberry showed her support in her particularly enchanting way.  Such an adorable kitty.

I head back to Maine this morning...back to my adorable pussycat, Emerson.  We were all so relieved to see the millions of people turn out to support this truly grassroots movement for equity and social justice.  This is something that will only grow in the weeks and months ahead.  Each person will engage, become involved, in any way they can.  We all took the pledge yesterday on the Common.  Boston has always been the epicenter of revolution and this did feel a lot like one yesterday but it will be, I pray, a peaceful one.
