Egrets at Kincardine!

Got a "heads up" this morning so we slipped over to Kincardine bridge in the hope that the birds were still about. Yes they were!
Delighted to see that they are a pair and hope that by the summer there may be some little ones too.
Staying on the Avian theme, today's extra is of some goldfinches working a field for grass seeds, etc. There was quite a wee flock of them, easily seen when the flew but very well camouflaged when on the ground.
Still very raw-cold and damp here but at least that fog has cleared a bit.
