Tree in the village

Brother took me down to Post Office to post Travel Insurance claim...camera came along as it is pouring with rain and thought to blip this tree.

It must have been around for many years as the trunk is huge........Someone spoke to me and thought I was taking a photo in order to say it needs to be chopped down.......not the case, as think it is lovely,..... and if only it could talk it could tell many a tale
