The spirit of sport

A dull grey day.  The air feels polluted!  We went  to IKEA after church,  bought a few bits, had lunch - didn't quite keep to the challenge food requirements: highly processed meat balls with red berry sauce, mash and corn!  It was delicious!!  Found some rye biscuits that are very good and spent at least 15 minutes updating the IKEA card to see whether we had won a prize on the checkout.  We had - a doughnut!!

On the way home I took some shots as Ro drove and this is the most interesting.  this monument: the Spirit of Sport stands outside Bolton Football stadium.  Each little square has the portrait of a Bolton sportsman or woman.  Looks much better not shot from a moving car with a dirty windscreen and on a sunny day!!
