Making a silk purse out of a sow's ear....
Having done a couple of indoor shots over the last couple of days I determined to try and capture an outdoor blip today. However, its been a really grey and dismal day today so I had to hope that I could rescue something in post-processing. I tried a whole range of subjects though a number of the shots had motion blur even though I was shooting at quite high ISOs. In the end I have gone for this shot of these two swans on Seafield Pond. Certainly I did not have to worry about the highlights in the swans being over-exposed. I preferred the mono version as I thought it brought out the water quality better. Maybe not a silk purse but at least its got a decent range of tones.
