Daddy went on his tree pruning course (birthday present) whilst we swam, played in the park getting v muddy and visited old friends. That was great because Ewan doesn't have grandparents so when Brian took Ewan to his workshop and emerged with a biplane that Ewan had helped saw and nail he was so chuffed he didn't stop talking about it all the way home. Thank you older wiser lovelier people.
