Day 14-aurevoir la belle france,hello Road to Hell

We woke at 5.30 and were out of the appartment by 7.20, arriving at the Channel Tunnel about 2 hours before our crossing. A lovely French man gave us an earlier crossing so we arrived in England about an hour earlier than we should have. Then we hit the M25!!! The journey from then on was a nightmare, with pouring rain, lots of traffic jams and some near misses. We arrived home, exhausted, at about 5pm.
