Winter Wander…

Joined a local walking group this morning for the first time, for a “taster” walk. Due to slippery conditions, the organiser had decided to limit the walk to walking in and around the park so the walk wasn’t quite as exciting as I’d hoped, didn’t get to see or experience anything new. In a couple of weeks’ time though, they’re planning a longer and more interesting walk out into the countryside so hopefully that’ll be more enjoyable.  But at least it meant that I got to enjoy some fresh air on a crisp Winter morning, and it certainly got me up and out much, much earlier on a Sunday than normal!
