parading

I was asked to photograph a samba band who were dressed as horses in the Big Burns Supper Parade (it had a Tam O'Shanter theme). In front of the band were these children in colourful costumes and the folk from D&G Refugee Action dressed as candles. 
Hundreds of people lined the streets of Dumfries to watch the parade and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Lighting up a cold winter afternoon :-)
