Drama on the levels

Arrived home from Birmingham in time for a walk put of the village and towards the nature reserve. There was a JCB dredging the ditch at the side of the road and it attracted all manner of birds... herons (about 8), thrushes, an egret, lapwings and this hawk that I managed to catch in flight.
