Rosie

Tonight we had some excitement in the street.  Prompted to look out at the noise of engines, we discovered that the fire brigade had deployed a cherry picker which was parked outside our house.  It transpires that they suspected a chimney fire at the pub on the corner of the street and were investigating from above the properties.  It was rather alarming and we thought we might have to be evacuated.  Thankfully all seems to be well & they have headed back to the station.  It seemed rather insensitive to get my camera out to take a photograph so here we have a photograph of Rosie taken earlier today!
