MELON ( Emergency blip )

Had a nice lazy Sunday.  Nothing much to report.  Did some washing, cooked minced beef, sorted out a few things in one of the spare bedrooms and watched TV.  Weather was dull and cold so I wasn't tempted to go for a walk. 

So what to blip on a boring day.  Well this is a Pepino Melon which I bought a couple of days ago.  Never heard of one before and I love melon so thought I would give it a go.  I put a teaspoon in the shot so you can see the size - about the size of a large avocado.  I would rather have had an avocado I think.  The melon was not sweet.  It tasted savoury - rather like cucumber.  A disappointment.  I will not be making a repeat purchase.
