Halle' evening!

Quite a hard day. A large holly tree has been allowed to grow up in the front hedge, and started blocking the light and the view. It had to go!
Rob cut it to pieces with his chainsaw and we made it into a big pile for burning.
Sadly, two nestboxes were being used for roosting by our tree sparrows, they were looking rather perplexed!
After a brief rest, off to Kendal leisure centre for one of the best concerts of the season, Tchaikovsky rococo variations and symphony no 4. Sublime! And very loud, full orchestra and wonderful cellist. We are very lucky.
