La Bodega

1. In work early for the first of our access and equality events with Robert and Mairi, which is as brilliant as I remember it. There's a moment where you have to think of every word you know to describe disability. You write them down and stick them on sheet in order of how acceptable they are. It's a tough but very interesting thing to put yourself through.

2. About half four Niall comes up and pops a wee post it on my desk suggesting a pint. It's the best idea I've heard in about a fortnight.

3. We nip to Heraghty's on Pollockshaws Road and I get to talk a few things out, which is very helpful.

4. I find I am just minutes from Gilly's which is ace news as that's where I'm heading. Armed with some fizz and some flowers it's not long before the taxis are ordered.

5. We're at La Bodega on South Street for Gilly's birthday. She brought us here a couple of years ago and it was brilliant. I am delighted to find that's not changed. In fact, if anything it's only got better. Ace tapas, great music, amazing dancing and lovely company.
