Letting their little lights shine

Tonight about 200 people met at Beth Israel Congregation to hear people of many faiths talk about the dangers of the right-wing hate-filled agenda. Then they walked in complete silence for about a mile and quietly filled Pioneer Courthouse Square to pray and meditate for the safety of all beings, especially those threatened by white supremacy and xenophobia. After the meditation, an African-American Christian minister led the singing of "This Little Light of Mine" and invited all to lift their candles.

The sign on the left at the top, which unfortunately I cut off with my camera angle, said "White Supremacy Must End." Amen to that.
