Two Million And Counting

That's the number of second hand books on sale at this January's Lifeline Bookfest in Brisbane. This pic shows just one of its three sections in the Brisbane Exhibition Centre.

In previous years I've gone on one of the earlier days when the halls are packed. Choosing the day schools went back proved to be a good move - as was getting there as soon as they opened.

All funds raised go towards the vital and life-saving community services provided by Lifeline (a not-for profit charity) including suicide prevention, bereavement support and family and crisis support.
