Mount Tamborine
The lorikeets in the tree opposite our 8th floor room that I blipped a couple of days ago are now popping over for food, and the blip photo shows Mrs BB hand feeding them as she was on the patio having breakfast at 9am this morning.
Afterwards we set off to Tamborine Mountain about an hours drive away to do The Sky Walk on a that's set up on a steel path around the rainforest. It looked good but in reality wasn't worth the $19 (£12) each. We saw a couple of birds and butterflies. The best thing there was a Honda Goldwing in the carpark that I couldn't resist photographing.
Indeed, Curtis Falls nearby was an official rainforest walk/waterfall that was better and free!
We stopped off in Canungra town for refreshemnts before getting back to our room. I've lost the safe key and they've lost the spare. There's a stand-off at the moment but if they don't sort it I'll call out a locksmith and bill them. It's a good job it wasn't our last day.
A swim in the swimming pool was just what I needed to cool off. We will see what tomorrow brings.
