Skating lessons required!

A heavy frost last night and Maxwell Park pond was partially frozen. There was a small area of open water where the ducks and moorhens were swimming about but the breadcrumbs were on the ice. The pigeons were determined to reach the small delicacies so they slipped and slithered over the ice to reach their early morning snack.

I've just bought a new camera .... old one was really knackered, my fault as I used it in all weathers and the lens has some spots on it. I will hand it in for and overhaul but I can't be left without a camera.  The new one is the same make but newer model and a bit more complicated so just for the first few days I'm going to keep it on auto while I try to understand the manual.
