Signs of Spring!

Hooray ...... sunshine ......... at least for a while ..... but brrrrr was it cold!

A lovely Sunday ....... too good not to go out for a short walk ..... so we wrapped up well & headed out to Westgate Woods.

As we got out of the car we saw a Kestrel perched on a telephone pole .... great start ...... bit too far away to get a decent shot though. We saw Blackbirds, Robins, Wrens, Chaffinches & as we were leaving there was a Buzzard perched in a tree in the middle of the meadow!

It was lovely to see the catkins appearing ..... a real promise of Spring! We also saw quite a variety of fungi ...... couldn't decide which to Blip ..... so you get a selection ..... hope you like it :-)
