Lemon

I have had this little lemon tree for over 10 years but I have never had any fruit off it.  Last summer I pruned it back savagely thinking I would chuck it out but I got distracted and left it sitting outside next to the bins all summer.  This autumn I noticed it was covered in the glossiest, healthiest leaves followed by beautifully scented flowers so I brought it into the porch .  Now I have this - my first ever home grown lemon!  As soon as Dry January is over I think I will introduce my little lemon to some new friends called Gin and Tonic.
