Hawthorn berries

A lovely day!  It was frosty and clear this morning, perfect for a walk down Burgoyne.  Wonderful to get some sun and the temperature was just right.  Red is the weekly theme, so I took a few shots of hawthorn berries.  I've been wanting to try the oil paint feature in photoshop and played with it a bit.
It's Kalyn's birthday today!  Hard to believe our younger granddaughter is 17.  Where do the years go?  She has the test for her learner's license tomorrow.   I've included my favourite photo of her when she was Wee Kalyn as an extra, and here's a link to a couple of blips from the summer when she and Markus were here.  Not Wee anymore, about 6'2", and still a lovely girl.  I can't take her one-on-one anymore.  :)
