He came and he went :(

Well, he will be leaving first thing in the morning.

Jon came down to enjoy some warmth on the beach with us today before he heads out tomorrow to freezing temps in Oxford.

It was good to have him with us and hear about his hopes and dreams. Let's hope he stays focused and makes it all happen for himself. Really enjoyed having him home. Sure he spent more time with his friends, but that was to be expected! We know our place.

Needless to say, I was a little sad later in the evening. I love my kids and miss them terribly but so happy that they're getting on with their lives and settled well into their unis. Couldn't ask for more really.
