Catching the Light

The day has been mostly overcast with a little wind and around 20c. More bad weather is on its way for the South Island. Sure is unseasonal weather.

I didn't get as much as I wanted to today as my back is still really sore. Hopefully tomorrow I get all the things back into place to make the house look lived in.

This lovely Gladiola flower was saved from Akaora as the wind and rain had knocked to the ground. It is now sitting on my windowsill here in Christchurch. The little sun we had was making it glow. Do love its wonderful colours.
