Banded Dotterell

Okay, I know the focus isn't great but . . .  it's a banded dotterell.
(Well I'm pretty sure that's what it is)

This evening I met up with three other photographers at Washdyke Lagoon.  Sadly, due to the heavy cloud cover, the light was really too low for bird photos.  But I had to blip this dotterell - I've never blipped one before.

I will definitely be going back to this spot in better light.
