I had been planning a day out in Bristol, telling the care agency in advance that I could not be back up carer.
I had a lovely time with Rosie, we visited the city farm, and walked over the bridge and up and down lots of hills. It was a cold sunny day. That part was great.
Sadly my Mum ended up in hospital, the morning carer did not turn up.
Our friends Lin and Steve were so kind and stayed with Dad and went with Mum to the hospital where she had an M.R.I. amongst other tests. So a day of mixed emotions, happiness to see Rosie settled in Bristol, guilt that I had a day out, sad that Mum ended in hospital.
