Civilisation v Nature

I visited the Mourne Mountains on Sunday with pals from our walking group, for our annual Christmas dinner al fresco. It was actually some sausages, bacon, beans, soda bread and potato bread, followed by pate on crackers and we'd a wee nip of whisky to mark the occasion too. 
A fun day was had and it was great to see the guys again.
My Blip was taken at Silent Valley reservoir, built between 1928 and 1932. Eight men died building it and it serves most of Belfast.  Six more shots are on my Flickr page here: Silent Valley
