Our Oven

Our oven malfunctioned today. It kept on flashing an error code F7, which indicates that there was a controller short that was likely acting like a constantly pushed button. Apparently this is pretty common with this model oven. Its annoying for me because there is actually nothing wrong with the heating capability of the oven, just the keypad. It has been suggested that the plastic cover over the keypad warps when it gets hot and pushes a button. This seems silly because its an oven. It should be okay if some of the parts get hot. Anyway, we need to start shopping for a new one.
