Into The Woods

I worked this morning and had the pleasure of taking the children to Forest School. We are lucky enough to be able to use a piece of land next to the school where the children can play and investigate the environment. We take lots of adults with us and the children are closely supervised but it does mean that they can play in the river and the mud and around the trees safely.
It's such a wonderful opportunity for the children and also lovely for us. It was a beautiful bright and frosty morning. We wrapped up warm and had an excellent time even though I came back with a welly full of water, it was definitely worth it.
