Sharpening The Edges

It's downright cold for us at the moment but like I've said many times, I can deal with any winter day if the sun is out.  There are a lot of crews out trimming trees and bushes and generally cleaning up yards. I've got to hire someone for a few things soon, too.  In a couple of weeks I will be starting to give my cactus and other succulents "Cactus Juice," the best plant food I have ever used for them. Hopefully, it will help provide me with new growth and an abundance of flowers beginning about a month later.

Many citrus trees are currently producing fruit.  My friend, Andrea, brought me a dozen sweet lemons.  She said she has hundreds of them on her tree.  I'm going to make fresh lemonade later.  But I have learned a valuable lesson...don't drink lemonade and coffee at the same time.
