Escape

It is not much fun at home at the moment with the kitchen being decorated. In our house the kitchen is in the centre of the house with all routes leading off it. Steve the painter would rather we didn't come through while he is working! So we have taken to going round the outside from one room to another! Fortunately the weather is dry, but it is barely above freezing. Poor Coco the cat is rather bewildered.
So, to escape, we went out to lunch. We tried a restaurant attached to our village pub. Recently under new management it needed to be investigated, and we gave it the thumbs up. The roses on the table were nice and fresh and made a reasonable blip on a day sadly lacking in inspiration.
