SURPRISE RIVETS !

It's quite normal to discover guitar bridges secured by wee bolts when incompetent makers are incapable of doing a decent glue job. The bolts are OK - they can be unscrewed & be useful when re-gluing a bridge in place.

This Eko 12-string is plumbing the depths of guitar-making depravity by employing rivets disguised by little black plastic hats - see the one at the top!

The Eko 12-string, despite its size is remarkable for its lack of volume due to the 1.5mm coat of polyurethane varnish which acts as  a straight jacket.

The wood they use for their bridges is Wenge - an African hardwood - highly prone to splitting as you can see!!
