Tom on the Telly

Tom (Hollins) on the telly.
Tom is an acquaintance of mine, we once teamed up in a relay race over the fells.
Anyway last week he went and won The Spine Race, that's 288 miles up the Pennine way, in 99 hours with about 5 hours sleep, bonkersness.
In other news Carol who also is part of my running scene from time to time came 6th overall, and First Lady. She broke the previous record by 1 3/4 days. That sounds like the kind of record breaking margin from a round the world boat race. I have no words.
I'm exhausted writing about it.
