A fun day in Bermondsey with Phil! Filming, chatting, laughing and taking in the sights. Phil made a great lentil and veg broth for us, and then he took me on a tour of the local area, really interesting stretch of the Thames with great views, 14th Century manor house ruins which belonged to Edward the 3rd, The Brunel Museum and statues of Alfred and Ada Salter and their daughter Joyce and family cat. They were an incredible Quaker couple who did an immeasurable amount to help the local area and it's poor. Also The Mayflower the oldest pub on the Thames, I would like to revisit and go inside next time!
Nice to see Jeremy as well.
Back home Max had taken Gully to the Foot Clinic where a very nice Dr sorted out his ingrowing toenail without having to operate!
